AUTOCRAT inc.

Uncle Kurt is into historical S/M. Specifically torture inflicted to punish those who stood up for their convictions: The Quakers in 17th century New England who refused to go to Puritan Mass, the Artists who refused to play McCarthy’s games, and the Jews, Muslims and heretics punished by the Spanish Inquisition. What is the torture for the Leclerc family? And why is it centered around an old bottle of Autocrat Coffee Syrup? It’s stickiness contained by a nostalgic plastic bottle.

AUTOCRAT will be produced at the Boston Center for the Arts Blackbox Theater in January 2027.
